South By 5 – Race 3, Rouken Glen Park
Nathalie Smith was the solo Harrier in the 3rd race of the trail racing series. In a last minute change to the planned route, Nathalie ran a great race over the hilly course where runners competed against the snow and ice and a mere 400ft of elevation over 5km! Well done Nathalie finishing in 28:34.
Valencia Marathon
David Thomson travelled to Spain to compete in the Valencia Marathon in search of another shiny new marathon PB and the event didn’t disappoint. Despite some travel issues on the way, David paced his race perfectly going through the half marathon in 1:45 and finishing in an outstanding time of 3:31:07, a massive 13 minute Personal Best time. Having joined the club just over a year ago David has gone from strength to strength over every distance.
