Loch Ness Etape

The Loch Ness Etape is a Cycle Sportive Event which took place on the 27th April around the iconic Loch Ness. It comprises a tough 66 mile (106 km) loop on a closed-road route around the loch, starting and finishing in the Highland capital of Inverness, offering 900 m of ascent. The King of the Mountain stage is a 4.8 mile (7.72 km) climb gaining 380 m in height with a gradient reaching 12% at times.

The club was represented at this year’s Etape by Kirstin and Robert Adams who both finished in an excellent time of 4 hours, 39 minutes and 58 seconds.
